A mysterious and deadly plague has swept across Pyrrhia, turning dragons into monstrous versions of themselves before their loved ones' very eyes. It's unlike anything anyone has seen before, and it doesn't discriminate in swallowing victims from any tribe, here on Pyrrhia or anyone from Pantala. However, some dragons stand out as special in the midst of the outbreak - unfazed, unbroken, unturned. Is it their destiny to pave a path through the chaos to get the world into a safe future?
How does a young student teacher save dragonets from these monsters they're all afraid of? How does a reconnaissance agent accomplish her mission when the world is falling apart? How does a young soldier, being accused of treason, achieve his lifelong military dreams when he's forced to choose between his superior's orders and the oath he swore? And, almost lastly, how does a complicated dragon balance her duty to fight for the greater good with her desires to save her own sister?
But, arguably most importantly...what in the world could a dragon zombie apocalypse be like???

No canon characters from the books exist in this world. There is at least one fantribe in this world, that fantribe belonging to me. Mud'wings don't exist in this world, because i have an unexplained hatred for them. A 1000 years after the end of the Pyrrhian war stopped by the 5 prophesized dragonets a new prophecy was delivered. Now 6 new dragonets are destined to save Pyrrhia from a devastating disaster, a master volcano which wiped out a big part of the population, but how do they stop a natural disaster? There must be something, or someone behind it. Viper and his friends are forced to be introduced to the real world were they find out that it is a brutal world to survive in. Will Viper and his friends learn how to be harsh and claw their way to the top, or will they be pushed down and join the wiped out population, and find out the harsh truth? (Hey! This story is an unofficial 4th arc to the original wings of fire series. There are 5 books planned in this unofficial sequel to our beloved wings of fire. I would like to give huge credits to Tui.Sutherland for coming up with the wings of fire and its universe where this book takes place in, and for giving me the first book series that could entertain me for hours on end.
