Qais's own tears began to fall, silently carving paths down his face. "I promise you this, Pranaya Sharma. This is the last time you will ever see my face," Qais said, his left index finger pointing at her, his voice filled with betrayal and hatred for the woman he once thought he loved. Pranaya stood frozen, tears streaming down her face. Then, without another word, she turned and walked away, leaving him standing there, holding the shattered pieces of what could have been. As she walked into Gilgit Airport, she silently vowed to herself, "I promise you, Qais. You will never, ever see me again." ~ When Pranaya Sharma, a 27-year-old Indian-Canadian travel photographer, takes an assignment in Pakistan, her goal is simple: capture the beauty of the country for a government tourism campaign. But fate has other plans. During her travels, she introduces herself as "Iman" to a charming stranger named Syed, unaware that Syed is also hiding behind a false identity. In reality, he is Qais Isa Khan, the 29-year-old son of Pakistan's Wazir-e-Azam (Prime Minister) and a rising political star. Their playful charade turns into a profound connection neither of them can resist. But as their lies begin to unravel and the weight of their true identities comes crashing down, Pranaya and Qais, or should we say Iman and Syed are forced to confront the impossible reality of their love - a love that defies borders, cultures, and societal expectations. In a story of forbidden romance, deception, and heartbreaking choices, how far will they go to fight for a bond that was never meant to exist?
