The past twelve years of my life have consisted of running. Constantly. Avoiding anyone and anything I may come in contact with out of fear. At this point I can only remember what my life was like before. I cant remember how it felt anymore, the first night I realized that trying to relive my past through forced memories was causing me to forget I cried to sleep. Not that I hadn't don't that before. The difference was because I knew that after all my trying and promising not to forget I've started to do just that. -------------------- Hope was a lost word to Everton. She had lived so long without it, after rogues killed her family, her friends, her pack... she thought she was destined to live alone the rest of her life. That is until she met a savior who kept using the word 'mate'. What does that even mean? To Everton, it means hope; but is she willing to accept 'hope'?

"You can fight me all you want, Grace, but you can't ignore what you feel for me forever. If neither of us reject each other the bond only grows stronger. You feel it don't you, your need for me," He calmly said, inching his way toward me. I glared at him, the sound of his voice had me pooling in my panties. I hated that, hated that all it took was his voice to turn me on, "You're not my mate. I refuse to believe it!" Was all I said before I stormed out of there. __________________________ After a drunken one night stand with a handsome stranger, Grace Evans wakes up in her bed with a note left at her bedside. The last words of the note both startle and confuse her especially since she saw her mate die in front of her very eyes. What happens when the mysterious handsome stranger now comes to claim her? Will she give in to him or will she reject him, killing his wolf and breaking his heart?
