With all her new free time from not training anymore, she spent a lot more time with her best friend Connie and her hockey friends. When Connie's team gets a new coach and is looking to recruit new players, Connie immediately suggests Amelia. Amelia, however, knows little to nothing about hockey and doesn't want to waste her nor the team's time learning how to play. The man was stupidly handsome - if you managed to get past the oversized ego that sat on his shoulders. "Enjoying the view?" His sexist comment snapped me back into reality, resulting in me letting out a not-so-ladylike snort. "Please, the only reason I have to look at you is to try and figure out just what it is exactly that would make you so smug, but as far as I can tell, you have absolutely nothing going for you." Despite my effort to get a response out of him, he smirked as if accepting the challenge. "Besides the fact I am the number one center in the state of Massachusetts?" "Am? Don't you mean was? Now was looks bad on a resume." Aiden's jaw clenched, and in that moment I would have been dead if looks could kill. I was pretty sure that if it'd been legal for him to hit a girl, he would have already been on the ice by now. But it wasn't, and I'd clearly just won. I felt quite satisfied with myself and decided it'd be fun to rub some salt in his freshly wounded ego. I turned and sprinted across the ice before looking back over my shoulder and blew him a fake kiss, lifted my left leg up, and smacked my butt in a sense to let him know that he can just kiss my ass before I'd let him take over this rink.Concluida

𝐒𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐚 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐤 is smart, quiet, shy and beautiful. She joined crystal high sophomore year and soon won the hearts of all teachers with her intelligence. Lost in studies, she doesn't have a care in the world and has made no friends even at the end of the school year. She studies alone and is satisfied with her grades. No one gets under her skin neither does she let someone except that one guy who has made his personal mission to get on her nerves. 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐲 is confident, charming, talented and kind. While being the best player on his basketball team, he also scores the best grades in his classes. Everyone in Crystal High knows and adores him and his caring gestures. When he sees the girl fighting to get good grades, something in him changes, he becomes obsessed with getting under her skin and makes it his mission to unravel her and find what she hides behind her competitive spirit. Since their Senior Year at Crystal High is coming to end, they have challenges to face. While the common challenges stresses them- such as college applications and hopes of getting chosen by their dream college- they come face another problem which brings them closer to work together and help each other out. As the bond between them grows and they come to unravel a part of each other, they end up finding comfort. But the past continues to haunt memories and they find themselves stuck with their thoughts.
