The Moretti Twins

Giovanni and Alessandra Moretti were thirteen years old when they met their older brothers for the first time. Giovanni and Alessandra had been through a lot in the eleven years since they had seen their brothers, they were taken from their family by their mother, they witnessed their mother's murder when they were six, they were thrown into foster care where they were abused by their foster parents. When they were thirteen, they were reunited with their brothers but they didn't trust them at first. Slowly, they started to trust their older brothers and even opened up about what they had been through. They were thirteen when they were caught up in an age old battle and they were kidnapped by their cousin. When they were saved by their brothers, both twins had major and minor injuries. Alessandra had a spinal cord injury and she had become paralyzed from the waist down, she was going to have surgery and receive physical therapy to try and recover from the injury. All of that was two years ago.

Now, Giovanni and Alessandra are fifteen years old, they still live with their brothers and their brother is still the leader of the Italian Mafia. Giovanni has gotten taller and stronger, he's still just as protective of Alessandra as ever. Alessandra is still the quiet angel she's always been, she still has nightmares but not as frequent as before, she's been in therapy as well as Giovanni has been. Alessandra has also regained the ability to walk but some days, she still has to use her wheelchair.
