Kleio Helen Remington has been trapped in a cage, literally, since her parents died. After their deaths, she was sent to live with her uncle in the countryside of Minnesota. Little did she and her family know of what sinister things their extended family had been doing to people. Her mom's brother has absolutely gone insane, and since she can't stand the family and what they do, they keep her under wraps in a cage in the barn.

It isn't until the Winchester brothers and a police officer named Kathleen arrive, that she has a real chance for survival and is able to be free of her captors. She soon ends up scouring the country with Sam and Dean Winchester in hopes to help them find their father and to get rid of as many evil creatures as possible. But when they finally do meet up with John Winchester, he mistakes Kleio for her mother, Helen.

Jacob Remington was a Hunter, just like John. John had met his wife, Helen, many times in passing. She wasn't a Hunter, but she kept the faith in the family and looked after their daughter. Jacob began teaching all he knew to Kleio the second she learned how to walk. She picked it up, fast and was soon hunting with her father, in her early teenage years, and praying with her mother so that the world would be a better place for them all.

As the months drag on, Sam, Dean, and Kleio become much closer than anticipated. Particularly Sam and Kleio. They both begin to show feelings for each other, even with Sam believing he really wouldn't be able to love anyone after the death of his girlfriend, Jessica.
