As a pacifist demon, Arkemoz is ostracized by his society. Wanting a fresh start, he comes to Earth. However, things go horribly wrong when he is captured by vampires who thirst for his demonic blood. 

It seems his luck improves, however, when he is rescued by Aegis, the supernatural law enforcement agency. Except he soon learns that there is more to what happened to him than it seems. The vampires who captured him serve mysterious masters Aegis has been hunting down for months. And they've been taking other demons too. 

Wanting to find his people, Arkemoz decides to help Aegis in their investigation. But the closer they get to the truth, the more dire things become as they discover the rabbit hole runs deeper than they ever could have imagined. 

And what awaits at the bottom of it none of them could've prepared for.
