He failed everybody who ever believed in him, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Padme, Riyo... and Anakin. The thought of him brought a bitter taste to his mouth. He had failed his brother. He had watched as Anakin had fallen, had become Darth Vader, had slaughtered younglings, had led the Empire to the brink of absolute dominance.
