Steve has been planning to run away since he turned 12. Steve has always hated being in Hawkins especially when his parents started going on business trips when he was 10. After his grandparents and aunts and uncles except two pass away he gets all their money so he is richer then his parents. His parents give him £1,000 per months since he turned 10. When Billy find out he won't allow him to go without him . He asks Billy where they should go and he say California. Steve calls his aunt and uncle and asks if they could clean up his grandparents house. All his family hate his parents so they won't tell them. Steve buys Billy and himself new phones and he blocks his parents from seeing his bank account.
