He had me on my knees. I knew what this was, it has happened many times before in previous sessions. The race of my heart, his ragged breath. It was all something I remembered clearly. But oh, it was never like this. Never this terrifying, and as I looked up past his torso and to his eyes I saw the man that I had once called mine, holding the red blade above my neck with shaking rage. What was destined for me next would be darkness, so, if that were the case, the last thing that I would see was his beautiful face.
