(This is just the rough draft of the description. A better one will be written soon.)

It has been a long time since Kiya has seen her cousins. When she is invited to join them for the summer, she doesn't have to think twice about it. The decision to stay in New Jersey was easy for Kiya as her mom would be too distracted with her new boyfriend to even notice she was around. This summer would be the summer she would never forget as she spends time with her family and maybe even fall in love.
Reese has been bounced around from foster home to foster home after his mom turned to drugs when his father passed away. People in town know of his entire situation and assume the worst. He's known to be the rebellious boy who hooks up with lots of girls. However, no one really knows the true Reese. That is until he meets his best friends cousin.

*If you are a returning reader, I would suggest re-reading it from the beginning. There are new chapters, character names, and characters that might be confusing!* Seven life-long friends want to take a vacation to the Bahamas after school ends. After a mix-up with their plane tickets, they end up on an unrecognized island called Nani. Although it wasn't where they were supposed to be, and there is no phone reception, they decide to make the most out of the trip. That is until they see an unexpected crystal on a hiking trail that changes their lives. They finally realize it was not an accident that brought them there, and they gain special powers from the island. They have to work together and stop whoever is doing this to them to go home. Unexpected love, betrayal, and heartbreak burden them during their journey. They are only eighteen years old. They can't be expected to make it out alive.
