Set in the war-torn world known as the Lands Between, this novel is based on the award-winning video game where the player is tasked with repairing the Elden Ring and becoming the new Elden Lord. To do so, the player must slay the demigods and claim the Great Runes - the largest shards of the Elden Ring which dictate the physical laws of the Lands Between. One major goal within the game is retrieving the Rune of Death and returning it to the Elden Ring, thus introducing death back to the natural order of the world.

The Lands Between - Age of Dragons picks up where the game left off. The first seven chapters follow the stories of various characters, all inspired by characters I have played within the game. The motivations of the characters vary. Some work to claim the Great Runes for themselves in a bid for power. Others work to enact the will of the Outer Gods - extraterrestrial deities fighting for influence among the Lands Between. Their actions lead to a siege of the capital of Leyndell, where the Dragon King Cyrus slumbers upon the Elden Throne.

Each chapter focuses on a specific character and is largely told from their perspective, although they do intertwine quite a bit, resulting in captivating storylines and epic battle scenes.

All Elden Ring related material, including characters and images, are owned by FromSoftware.

"Arise now, ye Tarnished. Ye dead, who yet live. The call of long-lost grace speaks to us all!" It was a simple, yet grand purpose to those given a second chance by the Light of Grace. To become Elden Lord and claim the Elden Ring. Many would be emboldened by the flame of that ambition, and many more would perish at the hands of those who wished nothing more than to see the Tarnished dead. Such was the way things were in the Lands Between, shattered and fractured to the point of chaos between its residents. Only a select few would be guided by Grace, however only one would truly be gifted with something incredible. A gift that would render the physical well-being of a soul... unworried in the face of death. Yet the mind of that same individual would only be further damaged from it. So what did it mean to have true immortality? A blessing? Or merely a foul curse in disguise? One Tarnished warrior would grow bitter to it nonetheless, all the while cherishing the one gift he truly had. A friend. One he would do anything to protect, and one he would grow to love in spite of fate itself. This is an Elden Ring Two-Shot story; a Male reader X Melina story. AVAILABLE ON AMAZON & KINDLE On the planet Keodis, upon the western continent, Uestron, inside the Raesifiin Empire, in the small naval city of Cyripo, the story begins when thirteen diverse strangers answer a strange pamphlet to a quest. The quest is to find a powerful gem in the Deep Forest, and then to use what powers it bestowed on them to delve into the Mountain Barrier. There, they will have to find the Light to dispel the growing Darkness within. Though this qest is honorable and righteous, the dangers that await them are exponentially worse than they could ever imagine. Whether they can save the world depends on whether they can survive themselves. Mature rating for blood, gore and depictions of violence. TW: mentions of drunkards and beer, mention of physical abuses, a description of trypophobia, claustrophobia, and other phobias, and descriptions of nasty cryptids. There is no depictions or allusions of sex, no f-bombs, or drug abuse. This story was started when I was in seventh grade. I finished the original when I was a senior in high school. Displeased with the finished product, I began to rewrite it here, starting June 2015, then again in 2020. I am quite satisfied with the result, and am sure this will be the final edition. This isn't the first book of the series, but there's no spoilers for 'The World is Larger than it Seems', so you can start on this one. The story is far from finished, however, and I hope to eventually finish the series.

Welcome to a world inspired by the haunting lore of the acclaimed games, Darkest Dungeon I and II, crafted by the masterful hands of RedHook Inc. Games. This narrative is a transposition, a daring exploration into the abyss of the Darkest Dungeon universe. The ethereal essence of these games, with their ominous atmospheres and foreboding narratives, serves as the fertile ground upon which this story sprouts its sinister roots. A convergence of dread and fascination awaits, paying homage to the visionary developers who birthed this grim masterpiece. A symphony of darkness awaits, each chapter resonating with the echoes of despair and the crescendo of haunting melodies. As you immerse yourself in this odyssey, remember that the rights to the titles, names, graphics, and all other details lie with the Development Team and the modders who birthed the original visions. This novel is a labor of love, a tribute to the creators who have given life to nightmares and the modders who have extended its reach. So, dear reader, embrace the shadows, for within them lies a tapestry of fantasy woven with threads borrowed from the very fabric of Darkest Dungeon's essence. Your journey begins, and the darkness beckons. Enjoy, but tread carefully, for the boundaries between reality and nightmare may blur, and the echoes of the dungeon may linger even after the final page is turned. From The Ashes by EllisBeddoe

"This is the truth, guarded by the ignorant and blind. This is the truth of our world and our history. The gods have abandoned us. And it is our fault." Two towns set alight, and unrest continues to stir the air, even after the ashes have settled. These events are not coincidental, nor will they be the last tragedy to befall the dark, bloody and war-stricken world of Tayrul. All know it, and all suspect, rightly, that these events are only the opening of a gate, allowing something much bigger and far more sinister to befall the already ailing world. Arvayn Bryvaris, a mysterious half-elven thief/assassin, decides to cut ties with a deadly assassin's guild in an attempt to free himself of the vile shadow of the abusive and manipulative Assassin King, and strives to clear his name of the blood of his past. He strikes a deal to steal a strange talisman for a Curseborn named Locke in exchange for his freedom. Only for this decision to - instead of end his path of struggles and strife as he intended - lead him down another. One to something far more deadly than he could have ever even imagined... Meanwhile, Fenris Alivar, a monster hunter known as a Duskguide from the city of Loridge, is pulled into investigating the town burnings, one of which resulted in the death of his mentor. Found evidence points to the Heirs Of The Phoenix, a sinister cult that plagues his past, as well as a vampiric child called Cherlen. Fenris is tasked with the interrogation of the vampire, and the apprehension of the cult. All at the tremendous price of facing his past demons in an all or nothing effort to avenge the brutal deaths of his loved ones, at the hands of his own blood.
