Young Justice: Shot In The Dark

Elizabeth Steele is many things. An athlete, artist, and vigilante-and she loses someone, the owner of a multi-billion dollar company. It isn't easy, but her father had trained her well enough to understand the ropes of business.

What he didn't know was that she was training for a world apart from business. A world of crime and archers.

Oliver Queen, Green Arrow, took Elizabeth under his wing without much thought. She was a perfect candidate, having been working with archery since she was five. She was smart, witty, and everything he would have needed. He'd met her at a gala within Star City, and he would be lying if he said her charm didn't win him over.

Now, beside Green Arrow's protégé Speedy, Elizabeth works as Hawkshot to defend her city-but a new team and life awaits her.

This oc story is merely a prequel, taking place during season 1 of Young Justice. It follows the Team, but mostly Liza's story up through part of the five-year time-skip.

I would recommend reading the first part and a half of Silver Crow, but it is not necessary to understand this (there are simply a few instances of foreshadowing).
