Oh Caroline

Caroline has always looked at herself with disgust. Perhaps it started when her unhealthy relationship with Adam ended. Or maybe it started back in childhood when her father tragically passed away and her mother began drinking alcohol like it was water. She has never seen herself as the protagonist in her own story. She always felt more like the side character, always hiding in the back and after her breakup with Adam, Caroline finally decided to move in with Ava, her best friend who was living and studying in London at the time, and start over. Matthew Healy the lead singer in 1975 is back in London with his bandmates to start recording their 5th album. He isn't in the need to start seeing someone at the moment, and to be completely honest, he doesn't think he's mature enough for it either, even though he's now 32 years old. But when he meets Caroline, he can't help feeling drawn to her despite the fear of hurting her feelings. Caroline has no idea who Matthew Healy is, nor the 1975 for that matter, but when their paths cross at a club and they choose to spend the night together, it becomes hard for her to forget him.
