Cleo and Pope made it work for two years but veered off the rails after a huge argument that Pope didn't truly love her. Cleo made a stable life for herself while Pope went back to work for his Pop.

The Pogues weren't the Pogues anymore just regular people but an announcement broke out in Outer Banks that a killer is on the loose, they all reunite and realize lost feelings, friendships, and family attachments that never should have been split in the first place.
