Their dreams of growing old together were cute short when Iris was offered a scholarship to Northwestern University to pursue her dream of journalism. Nick stayed behind and suddenly it no longer worked.
Now that Iris is getting married it's time she brings her fiancé, Jasper, back home to meet her family. She soon realizes it wasn't a good idea and too many old memories come back to her.
