This isn't a love story. Eight and Sage seem like two ordinary church going brothers. One, the golden child, the altar boy, and the other, the rebel child. But if you looked a little further, past the mothers absent smile and the fathers mean glint, you'd see something much darker. Leaving their home in flames, Eight and Sage take to the roads in hopes of starting a new life, and have to untangle themselves from the perverted relationship they were forced into. They must redefine brotherhood, family, and even love. This isn't a love story, but to Eight and Sage, it might as well be. Will their dangerous bond to eachother save them or will it destroy them? How can you escape the evil when it's been branded into you? ***** Note from Author, This is the very early works of a first draft and hasn't even been completed!!! There's def grammar errors and inconsistencies in the plot. My bad, if you want to leave a note to help a homie out, go for it. Hopefully when I get an editor they'll do that for me! I'll update it the story every week? I'm not sure yet lol. I hope you like it though!

In the afternoon sunlight, the younger man's hazel irises brightened into a beautiful, golden honey-brown. Jasper was speechless for a few split seconds, until he managed to make his mind work out what to say next. "We're a team. That means no man gets left behind. I'll come back for you, I promise." ________________________ Killian-Grey has survived on his own for five months since the world was taken over by the dead. Desperation drives him to accidentally stealing somebody's food. A plea for help after being stabbed is answered by Jasper Adachi, an ex-military soldier determined to save the innocent and bring Killian back to the safety of his group. The two make an unlikely pair, but soon realize their survival may depend on one another more than they had initially thought. When the time comes, will Killian join Jasper's group, or wander out on his own once again? The dead are dangerous, but the living are cruel. If the two are to survive, they'll need to learn to get along and stick together. Will they work as a team, or become one of the dead?
