philophobia
[ fil-uh-foh-bee-uh ]
noun
an irrational or disproportionate fear of falling in love.
Love.
What is love?
Some may love is when you're with your person and you feel that fuzzy feeling of comfort and wanting to spend as much time with them as possible. Ruth used to be that way.
Others, however, dont believe in love, say its a waste of time or just doesn't exist. I wonder what happened to her to make her change her mind, perhaps a broken heart, or a crush that didn't like her back?
Many people dont believe what shes gone through.
not for the right reasons, anyways.
Normal people wouldn't believe her because she didn't have scars or bruises, but instead people don't believe her because the cruel man that did it was her own father.
He was gentle with her.
Her tied up body just barely lose enough to not leave marks.
He didn't want anyone to know, so she killed him.
"Philophobia is the fear of emotional attachment; fear of being in, or falling in love."
Two opposite sides of the same coin.
Both joined by their love of fear.
However their love for it could turn into a competition. A bloody competition.
A game where anyone can die or be hurt.
But everyone has a trick up their sleeve.
Some of us have just been playing the game longer.
