Second Ave Offices: The Time In Between (WLW)

This is book two of a novella series, mostly consisting of shorter stories of 50k-100k word count.

Fiona Kokkinos is a third generation Greek immigrant whose family came over for a work and land opportunities in the late 1800s. Now in the present, she is a successful therapist and works out of a building sharing some kind of comic book company, which tends to garner her attention relatively often. However, not for the reason she ever believed possible. After a chance encounter with one of the employees at the comic book suites on the first floor, Fiona finds herself spiraling toward something she never saw coming and must decide if she can truly, wholeheartedly open herself up to her life's new, seemingly boundless possibilities.

Kanda Boom-Nam moved to the US nearly six months ago and despite it being a whirlwind of emotion and loss when first arriving, now she has found her own. She has everything working for her. She has a lucrative career as an artist for Hiyama Studios, an studio apartment that was all her own and something she'd never had in Thailand with all her siblings, and there was no shortage of gorgeous biking and hiking trails in Seattle. She has it all, yet something was missing and she soon discovers it in the form of a strangely introverted woman who catches her fancy by complete happenstance.

Fiona, contrite over her ethics in taking Kanda as a client when she so blatantly flirts with her regularly, must navigate this newly burgeoning sensation before Kanda leaves her world forever in the form of one dilemma neither anticipated even more than falling for one another.
