"What I did was not my fault...right? "I asked looking towards the sky, hoping for a reply.

But the deep blue sky now almost black remained still and shushed me down with its rushing towards the rain, just like her, the warmth was nowhere to be found, just pure coldness. My stomach swarmed with guilt after the realization, as I lean further against the terrace railing.

"Laila.."
" Oh, so, Laila, she is.."

"Hey, you don't look any better. Take the pillow and lay down. Here."

Her heart was beating intensely. The chest pain was increasing. But, she couldn't stop. She had to go. The time settled down and deep bluish colour spread on the sky, that's the time the life changed for both.

Clenching heart, muffled mind, overflowing emotions, hauling steps and a quick decision.

The ring seating with the money. Was it meant to be worn or to be returned?
Did all of it lead to a beautiful story or was it a lead to deviousness?

HIS BROKEN ROYAL BRIDE by MikiILY

The throne room was bathed in cold moonlight, its once-grand walls now bearing the scars of war. At its center stood a man no, a beast his broad frame wrapped in the weight of sins he could never atone for. His crimson eyes, filled with torment, bore into the delicate figure before him. She was fragile, like glass on the verge of shattering. Her silk saree clung to her trembling frame, the once-vibrant colors now muted beneath the weight of sorrow. She had loved him once, before his hands were stained with the blood of her people. "You should have never come back," he rasped, his voice hoarse with restrained agony. She lifted her gaze, tears pooling in her wide, sorrowful eyes. "I had no choice... You still hold my heart, even if you wish to break it." A bitter chuckle escaped his lips. "Your heart?" He took a step closer, his fingers twitching as if fighting the urge to touch her. "I am no longer the man you loved, Princess. I am nothing but a beast now one cursed to destroy everything he once held dear." Her lips quivered. "Then let me be the one thing you do not destroy." His chest tightened. The world had already stolen too much from him-his peace, his kingdom, his very soul. And now, she stood before him, offering him something he did not deserve. He reached out, rough fingers brushing against her soft cheek, but then he hesitated. If he held on, he would ruin her. If he let go, he would ruin himself. "You don't understand," he whispered, his voice breaking. "I was born to be a monster. And monsters do not get to love princesses." A tear slid down her cheek, and she placed her hand over his, her warmth searing into his cold skin. "Then let this monster love me, even if it destroys me." His eyes shut tight, a silent war raging within him. But deep down, he knew-she was already doomed the moment she stepped back into his arms. And yet, neither of them could let go. . . . . . #bts #btsimagine #royal #brokenlove #smut . . . .

Finally Meant (Book 5 of Series)

63 parts Complete Mature

I made my way through the dark apartment and found the couch. What was going on at this hour that wouldn't allow me to sleep? Whatever it was it was intense, and I wasn't able to ignore it. The rain could be heard smacking into the concrete and against my window. I step out into my patio to watch it, nothing seems of the ordinary, or nothing I could piece together. I felt...sad in a way. This wasn't my sadness, my heart ached for someone else, but who? Why? I rubbed my chest, puzzled by this mystery. I was somehow feeling someones misfortune. I prayed to God this person was alright. Final Book of the 'Meant To' Series.
