and Aerys knew that.

When he heard his wife was pregnant again, right after Daenerys was born, he lost it. Aerys did not want another child. So when the gender of the child was known, a girl he decided to name her Visenya, hoping that the rumours were true and the name itself would kill her.

It did not.

The girl lived,
a warrior, a princess

and a living nightmare.
