Him living her behind while she lives the rest of her life and high school life without her best friend. What happens when they reconnect as adults with her now living on the edge of both Freeland and Akashic Valley, a little city outside of Freeland its about a 35-minute drive. Shay lives 15 minutes away from both. She moved to a little community of raven wood. With a population of 1000 people. This is mostly her story with a few of his pov.

I stood with my back to her, shielding her, and my murderous eyes stared down at the poor excuse of a man, promising unimaginable pain if he dared to move or even flinch.
