Theia, an Illyrian female, despises her Court. She knows of the High Lord's secret city, and the wealth that thrives there. As the poorest of a poverty stricken village, Theia is forced to keep herself and her mother alive. Working two jobs and coming home to a dilapidated cabin, she runs thin. 

Nyx, the Heir of the Night Court, had taken interest in her during his residency at the Windhaven war camp. He pushes himself into her life after being scolded about his privilege. Theia refuses to accept his pity, but can't seem to stay away from his continuous offers.

Every night without fail, she has dreamed of these eyes. At the Great Rite, she meets the owner of these eyes, Nyx, the heir of the Night Court, son of her dad's greatest rivals, and the ones she had been told about. She had been taught to never trust any fae from the Night Court, but she is drawn to Nyx. She can't stay away from him, and he can't stay away from her. He teaches her the truth of what actually happened during the war, and she realises that her dad's stories have all been lies. She realises the family she had grown up with, isn't all that it seemed to be.

April, Tamlin's daughter, always felt like a problem. Her father always made sure she understood what a flaw she was due to her lack of inherited Spring power. She tried to help as much as she could, going nowadays to the Mortal Lands South of the manor, but she spent a lot of her time confused with scrambled memories and a growing unsettling feeling. Her world changed, though when during a normal sneaky night she met him - Nyx Archeron. The winged male shook her heart and made her doubt of all horrible things about the Night Court she has always believed. Disclaimer: I do now own many of the character in the story. It is a mere tail related to a wish to have a story between Nyx and Tamlin's daughter.
