Tokoyami Fumikage didn't exactly come from a necessarily nice household, nor had the most normal upbringings. He's actually living in a run down apartment, crazy right?
Dark Shadow doesn't exactly know what they are, a demon, quirk, or something a bit darker. Who knows even. Actually he also doesn't know why he has a mean twin. But we'll see.

Layers Of Suffering (Tokoyami BNHA)
Dead eyes. Lifeless dead eyes stared back at him. Tokoyami Fumikage was looking through a portal. Like a one-sided mirror, everything he sees cannot be seen from the other end. He was held captive by a villain of murderous intent, wearing a sadistic smile. The whole of Class 1A was at the mercy of the villain and Tokoyami had to experience first hand. He was scared to death, scarred for life, but he had to act. This fanfiction shows us the different ways the characters in the story suffers. They all suffered differently. A Shadow Person
A shadow is a hero that works in the shadows of a limelight hero, doing everything they can to ensure that their hero wouldn't die. However what happens when a hero dies and the shadow is left alone? That is something Izuku is facing right now. He was a shadow hero ever after he was abandoned by his mother and then sold of to the American headquarters. They not only trained him and gave him a quirk but also made him be a shadow. An existence that is never written down as alive. He was basically a ghost who never lived before and no one would ever remember a shadow's death.... however due to some reasons he gets back to Japan and what's more he becomes the number 2 shadow.
