Five Sugar Star Gems have been scattered around the five different plains: Tundra (Prism/White), Space (Purple), Sweets/Amai (Pink), Tropical (Yellow), and Metro (Green). It's up to the Sugar Star Defenders and their protectors, called Soldiers, to find these gems before the Secretive Organization gets a hold of them.

23 year old candy shop owner, Balto Nagomi, is given the prophecy that he and five other beings host the magical crystals known as The Sugar Heart Crystals and are either able to turn into a Love Filled Being known as an Ai (pronounced like the letter i) or a Soldier.
