Oh, these inconsequential creatures who rule in between the crevices of time
Deciding within their dotted lines and proverbial disgusting disguise untrue
Calculating to maintain their status quo no matter who or how it hurts most.
Like it was ever even a fleeting hope within their cold self-preserving hearts
Seeking their own future solace at the dear cost of those they profess to defend.
But throw under the bus for their own endless support and financial gain.
If this is the price of fledgling democracy what hope is there it will forever remain
When cast upon and beneath the overextending shadows of these miscreants name?
