In the land of blades, safety comes at a price - a massive wall that encloses the inhabitants, sheltering them from the dangerous and magical creatures that roam the outside world. But for Liz, the walls are nothing but a barrier that keeps her from fulfilling her dreams of exploring the unknown. Against her grandparents' wishes, Liz enrolls in an explorers class, determined to see what lies beyond the wall for herself. Paired with two other children and a teacher, Liz sets out into the world, eager to learn and explore. But what was meant to be a simple quest turns into a dangerous adventure when they encounter aggressive creatures with glowing purple eyes. Determined to help and discover what caused the creatures' behavior, Liz and her group embark on a new quest. As they journey deeper into the unknown, Liz discovers that the world beyond the walls is more complex and beautiful than she ever imagined. But as they uncover the truth behind the infected creatures, they realize that their mission may be more dangerous than they ever anticipated. Will Liz and her group be able to overcome the obstacles in their path and save the creatures before it's too late? Find out in this thrilling tale of adventure, discovery, and courage. It is a book about becoming who you want to be rather than who others want you to be. It has a unique power system based on peoples spirit animal. The book features a female protagonist. Here is my second draft of the book that I am planning to release later this year. I would greatly appreciate your thoughts and feedback on it.

Lyra has been waiting for her Weaver to find her for years, unable to leave the safety of her home and only connected to him through passionate dreams - remembering nothing about him apart from his wild, sensual song. When the lone Weaver Grigore finally sweeps into her life, she finds herself instantly drawn to him, instantly recognising him as the man she had dreamt of for years. However, Lyra quickly runs into problems. Not only does he fail to recognise her but he's nothing like she imagined; cold, stubborn and determined to keep himself away from her. Rejected but determined to keep him safe as her magic whispers of his death, she follows him through danger and blood as he stalks his own hunt, desperate to shake the hooks that keeps pulling him back to her. First Volume of the Dark Folktales. This is a horror, erotic romance, with monster-of-the-week vibes, such as Buffy, Supernatural, Witcher, Claymore, and Van Helsing. (I'm a massive fan of the monster hunting genre.) Written from Sep 2011 until April 2014. This was the very first adult romance I'd written and has a plethora of problems. Despite this, I won't do further editing as I'm putting my efforts into a full re-write. Author's note - Please be mindful of what you're saying when commenting. I'm happy with helpful criticism, spelling/grammar pointers, questions or simple chatter. However, a tirade of needless, unhelpful complaints and just outright rude commentary is not welcome. My stories are terrible first drafts, they're going to be riddled with issues, so just politely highlight if you feel there's a problem. I'll listen and likely take on board the criticism. And if you're not enjoying it, that's fine, just move on and thank you for giving it a shot. The cover is my own art; sketched 2017.
