In the land of blades, safety comes at a price - a massive wall that encloses the inhabitants, sheltering them from the dangerous and magical creatures that roam the outside world. But for Liz, the walls are nothing but a barrier that keeps her from fulfilling her dreams of exploring the unknown. Against her grandparents' wishes, Liz enrolls in an explorers class, determined to see what lies beyond the wall for herself.

Paired with two other children and a teacher, Liz sets out into the world, eager to learn and explore. But what was meant to be a simple quest turns into a dangerous adventure when they encounter aggressive creatures with glowing purple eyes. Determined to help and discover what caused the creatures' behavior, Liz and her group embark on a new quest.

As they journey deeper into the unknown, Liz discovers that the world beyond the walls is more complex and beautiful than she ever imagined. But as they uncover the truth behind the infected creatures, they realize that their mission may be more dangerous than they ever anticipated. Will Liz and her group be able to overcome the obstacles in their path and save the creatures before it's too late? Find out in this thrilling tale of adventure, discovery, and courage.
