After my first day of classes, I made my way to the great hall. It felt kind of nice helping the kids with their work in class but I wished I was teaching. I didn't understand why I had to share with Slughorn especially when I just sit back and watch the kids make potions. Harry Potter had won the liquid luck. He made a perfect Draught of Living Death. I wondered if it was the book he found. The Half-Blood Prince. I got into the great hall and noticed Severus sitting down. I wanted to get to know him more. He was mysterious and intriguing. I have to admit I did have a sort of schoolgirl crush on him during my last year of Hogwarts. I made my way to the head table and sat down by Severus. "Evening." I smiled as I fixed my skirt from riding up. He cleared his throat, "evening." "How were your classes?" I asked after Dumbledore did his little speech about staying away from the Forbidden Forest and the black lake. "It was different," he said. "Like in a good way?" I asked. He nodded, "I've wanted this position for many years."
