She had never sought out revenge. Never wanted to be one of his pawns, either. But Ego Jinpachi barely had any rules to disobey since the beginning. Badmouth football all you wanted. Truthfully, it meant nothing to him, as he had already thought less of the general population to start.
"You're waiting for your buttons to be pushed, Ego-san."
For the first time in a long time, he was startled by such sudden utterance. He was never one to show much emotion if it benefited the other party solely, but somehow, his well-behaving little cousin stood here and saw right through him without even as much as a glance in his direction. Her small fingers danced across piano keys, starting off in simple reprise, but soon stopping, stilled as they sat in silence.
She was the first to move, Ego being the ever-so observant one, watching as her face turned into view. Her eyes were wide in a certain childlike naivety, but her expression was neutral. However, that isn't what stood out to him.
"Father says liars are bad people," She started, a translucent, animated black flame fanning around the very edge of her irises. "I think it's far worse to shield yourself with the truth, Ego."
[Blue Lock] << Yoichi Isagi >>
"THE CHOICES WE MADE IN THE PAST ARE WHAT GAVE US THE CHANCES WE HAVE TODAY."
The only thing Jin Saito has ever wanted was to become the best female striker in Japan. So when she's given a special opportunity to attend the elite new camp "Blue Lock", naturally she takes it.
She's fully aware of the struggles she'll undoubtedly face at Blue Lock, especially being the only girl there, but what she doesn't know is that every choice she makes along the way will determine her future. Even ones regarding one specific boy going by the name of Yoichi Isagi.
DISCLAIMER:
I do not own Blue Lock, nor its characters, as they belong to Muneyuki Kaneshiro. Jin Saito, however, is my own.
