Letters for my Dearest Sonia

The king, whose real name is not given, falls in love with his maid Sonia. However, he is unable to express his feelings to her verbally, as his ex wife had cut off his tongue due to jealously. so he writes letters express how he feels towards her. Sonia at first doesn't know if they are true or just stupid pranks, but soon she learns they are from the king.

The king and Sonia slowly fall in love spending the nights going for walks, having picnics by the lake and going for horse rides. Rumours went around in the castle that Sonia only wanted the king for his jewels and gold but the king didn't believe it as Sonia refused to take any jewel or gold from him.

The people in the castle soon felt disgusted when the two marry and Sonia becomes queen. The story then ends on a happy ending of the king and Queen having a son
