The Italian Fighter vs. The French Raider (Historical Romance)

After the death of her father and older brother at the hands of Spanish raiders, Adelaide will do anything to protect her lil brother from harm. Trained by her best friend, Alastar, to be a fighter and protector to take care of her mother and lil brother since she was six, Adelaide is more than capable to protect the ones she loves. When the king of Italy begins to draft soldiers to fight against foreign raiders, Adele's brother is sent a missive to be drafted too. At sixteen Adele takes her twelve year old brothers place, and doesn't return for four years. Upon her return to Italy she begins training her brother to be a fighter.

Captain Alexandre is scouting Italy for an easy escape route back to France from rich, beautiful Greece after a huge raid. The Italian King was about to war against Spain, leaving his home country in the middle of a war zone. Him and his army need supplies enough to recruit more men and yet lay low til after the war ends. He needs at least ten excellent fighters to help train so many men. He sees Adele in her armor training her brother, and thinking she is a man, he brings her back straight away to to help train his recruits. But he soon discovers the Adele is no man. He is quickly captivated by the black hair, violet eyed curvaceous tiny woman. Much to the disapproval of some of the men who consider their home an all man fortress and camp. He quickly decides to keep the her to help train the men............and warm his bed.

Adele the defiant person she was, refuses and demands to be returned home, only to be threatened with blackmail against the very people shes tried her hardest to protect. Will she escaped? Or will she fall for her captor? But the greatest question is: Will the coldest, hardest, most unfeeling, brute that all fear fall for her?
