For several years now it had just been her and her adopted sister April living together. They had both been adopted by Elio and Alice Benjamin, an older couple whose dream had just been to give a home to a couple of kids who didn't have that safe place to call home. When the sisters were 17 their parents died in a bad drunk driver car crash and they had been on their own since then. Now, they've been discovering powers and many other things about themselves and the world and they've learned to just keep going. April didn't talk about where she had come from before being adopted and Zöe wasn't sure if her sister remembered where she had come from. And Zöe didn't know at all where she herself had come from before, all she knew was that she was at the orphanage and then she got adopted and was told that she wasn't allowed to know anything about her previous family. April knew more than she let on, but, that's for later on in the story, isn't it...

Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race. This story holds romance, family, trust, understanding the past, and conquering your fears. *Read to find out more, I know it may sound boring from the description, but it's really not.
