"I'm dead aren't I?" I ask the woman standing in front of me. We are standing in front of a massive gate, If I had to guess I'd say this is the entrance to the Hall of Gods.
"Yes my child, you gave your mortal life to discover the secrets of your past, are you satisfied?"
"I didn't realize the thing I loved the most would be him, I had to make the trade." She pulls me into a hug.
"You found my loophole, and for that, I am entirely grateful but your work in the moral realm is not finished just yet. Now you must do more than look for answers, you must share your answers with the world."
"But the answer means exposing ourselves to the sins of the past. Damion won't go for it."
"He must, as for now, you need to go back, you will be welcomed back to your throne when your time has come daughter. For now, just remember who you are and who you come from, it will guide you in your future." She kisses me on the forehead and I'm flashed back to Earth. I don't go straight to my body, I look at the destruction around it. So much had happened how can we fix this? I take a deep breath and take the first step.

I finally escaped the factory, they kidnapped me from my college. Today is my birthday, and I had planned for it but nothing helped, only calming me down for the moment. Rubbing his thumb against my cheek, I slowly nod my head, when a pain began to form in my chest. I knew it was coming. I quickly get away, crawling a couple feet away. "Get away!" I yelled. My skin turning white and the pain erupting inside of me, feeling it try to escape, and I know if I let it. It will hurt this man. Suddenly, he was there in my view. Blue eyes staring at me, and then his lips were on my own. Gasping as I felt the pain beginning to disappear from inside me. Eyes drooping and my body relaxing against his. "Shit" I swore holding my nose, it seemed broken and the effect of our collision drew some blood.
