When Ronnie moves in with her dad after her mom dies of cancer, she immediately feels like she's out of place. Ronnie lived with her mom in Eastside. Eastside is known for it's crimes and gangs. Kids drop out of school faster than flies, and you always have to lock your doors at night. The only thing that came out of Eastside for Ronnie was leaning how to fight, and how to WIN a street fight. Ronnie was a legendary boxer at Eastside, so leaving takes a toll on her fame.
Since Ronnie's dad lives in a high class town called Jaspar Creek, she doesn't fit in at all. The only friends she makes is the local stoner/computer prodigy geek named Cory and a punk girl named Jessie. When Ronnie gets in a fight, Jaspar Creek High students notice her, and not in a good way. Except Levi. Levi sees Ronnie and wants to learn more about her, but one problem: Levi is the son of a famous and rich athletic manager who hates wanna-bes and Ronnie comes from a family that had to work hard for what they had. Even now that Ronnie lives with her rich dad, she wants nothing to do with him.
When Ronnie and her friend come up with an idea to get Ronnie noticed in a good way, Levi wants to help, and Ronnie wants to let him. But will she trust a Richy or will she fight her way to the top?
