Fiona Marcelo has spent her whole high school career remaining in the shadows, a shell of herself. A quiet reminiscent shell of the person she really is. Although dancing with the best school in Oregon, no one knows her name or minds her any attention because of her past experiences with the so called "in-group."

Fiona never expected a change. Not until her first day of senior year, when Kai Kaivenal walked through the doors to Macroeconomics II. She didn't know he would change her high school life so completely, yet in way that somehow felt like nothing at all.
