When Eddie takes a sick day, something he never does unless forced, Buck starts to worry. Eddie has demons, a lot of demons, and as everyone knows he struggles to ask for help with those demons. So when he finds out the one day he takes a sick day, which just so happens to be the day where a major storm rolls in, Buck gets hurt on the job and he breaks telling Buck everything he's been struggling with and Buck immediately decides to help him.

When Buck was in the hospital he ended up seeing an old time friend that didn't do so well mentally in highschool so Buck had stepped in to help him when he hit rock bottom. Now his friend has made a family for himself that fuels him with the happiness to live, but what's going to happen when his family starts to face major problems? Will Buck be able to help save him while figuring out his relationship with Eddie?

I do not own any of the fire fighting characters in this show! They all belong to the show 9-1-1 (which I really recommend watching if you haven't)
