"How?" I left the room. "It was a murder." Ky said finally.
She probably read my thoughts and understood what was going on but I told her anyway. "I had a dream, a bad dream or vision, thing." I said. Ahsoka's eyes were trained on me, allowing me to continue.
"I was in it, at least that's what I think. I was fighting a dark figure. It- its presence made everything and everyone, around him, cold and sad. It was the hardest fight I've ever fought. I ended up losing my energy and left my stomach carelessly vulnerable and then- then I died..."
Sumya is about fourteen. War is bound to come any day now and that is all Sumya has on her mind. Her sister Tieyan Wren and her friend, Ky Leinajo are trying to get her mind off it. Later on, something unexpected happens that changes her life and her friend's life forever. In the story, there is a murder. Who really did do the killing? Will anyone find out before the war?
After these conflicts are cleaned up, Sumya is granted a new mission with two new partners, and an unexpected, life-threatening vision of the future. What will she do then?
