Boruto: Raiden

Naruto is back from whatever dimension kawaki sealed him in with Hinata. They both have been gone for barely a second. So, then why is their village destroyed?

There had been countless sacrifices, which helped break the cycle of hatred. They all helped him, saved him, walked with him, believed in him for the greater good.... for... for peace! A better future!

Naruto would have let out a bitter chuckle if he felt like he could breathe. Peace? Greater Good? A better Future?

His future, his manifestation of greater good, his symbol of peace, konoha's golden child, his first born.... was lying there in a puddle of dirt, in a pool of his own blood. How did it come to this?
