Luminous (Dragon) (mostly unedited)
An old, unedited story I wrote years ago. Copy-pasted from my IPad. A story about a young dragon named Luminous, and her journeys around a fantastical world that really isn't as alive as it was described to be. So: there are many spelling mistakes, lots of sections of text that make no sense, random things being said, and... Yea. This is a story I thought of when I was a little kid, to keep me entertained at night when I couldn't sleep. No, I couldn't spell back then. It was written in parts, in old sketch books. Then typed. Here's the prologue or whatever the actual heck this thing is: Once, in a land so long ago there was a world filled with all types of creatures. Big cats, wolves, birds, fish, dinosaurs, and, most of all... Dragons. In this realm, there were two types of dragons: Black dragons, evil, mysterious creatures, and White dragons, elegant, beautiful beasts. Not all of these dragons were black and white though, infact, there was only ever one white dragon and one black dragon ever hatched. They were.. Well, use to be... Sisters. These dragons can be in all manner of shapes and sizes, colours and patterns, and not all dragons breathed deadly flames. Some had the breath of water, ice, snow, air, wind, and all colours of fire. But, no matter what type of dragon it is, how strong or weak it may be, they all had magic in them. You can tell whether a dragon is a black dragon or white dragon simply by looking into its eyes. Eyes... They show a creatures soul and heart. This is the story of me. My name is luminous, and Im a very special lady dragon. I became the leader of all dragons, and this... This is my story. ... Cassiopea's School for the Gifted
In a world where magical creatures and humans intermix, there are two types of magic and two types of people. Dark magic and light magic. Good people and evil people. Our main character is going to learn that your powers do not define who you are as a person. Arion Griffin lives in a society where people with light magic are 'good' and people with dark magic are 'bad'. He comes from a long line of dark magic. Unfortunately, this causes many problems for his social life since his family's reputation precedes him and makes it so no one will talk with him. He is worried it will make his greatest fear come true. He is terrified he is on the path to becoming evil like his parents. Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. He makes friends and learns that just because he has dark magic, doesn't mean he is evil. *Idk if this is actually a good story but I had a lot of fun writing it! :) *This story has been editedComplete
