During a time of peace, long after The Fall, an Ancient storyteller known only as Grandmother, passes on the history of the Dawn Ages.

Around the village hearth, Grandmother tells the tale of Zuri, The fractured Goddess of Creation.

In the adventure of several lifetimes, Zuri walks among her mortal Seed Children to experience the wonders of her planet and search for her contemptuous sister, The Elements. When she learns how to create new life without her sister, she abandons her search in favor of a peaceful existence, free of The Elements' haughty distain.

But, after centuries of peace, grim news arrives. The Elements has begun to wake in a land far across the sea and wrought unthinkable death and destruction as a result.

Zuri must leave all she holds dear and confront the vain and prideful goddess, The Elements, but will she have the strength to contain her sister's wrath in order to save her planet and every living thing that calls it home?

At thirteen, Manaia of the Sea Tribes expects to receive the elemental blessing of her ancestors. Instead, she is marked by Hine-nui-te-pō, the guardian of death, night, and spirit. Feared and misunderstood, Manaia is exiled from her village, burdened with a power no one dares to name. Years later, wandering between tribes and hiding her true nature, Manaia saves lost spirits in secret, still unsure whether her gift is a curse. When a pale, mist-wrapped patupaiarehe named Tawaroa saves her from a corrupted wairua, their paths entwine. Tawaroa agrees to guide her to Te Ao o Hine, the realm of spirits, where Manaia must finally face the truth of her power and the loneliness it brings. As the bond between them deepens, Manaia begins to understand that death is not something to be feared, but guided. But something is wrong: the spirit realm is fading, and forgotten souls grow restless. Someone, or something, is twisting the old beliefs, severing the sacred ties between the living and the dead. To restore balance, Manaia must embrace the darkness she was born to walk - or risk a world where no soul finds its way home. [UNEDITED] In the year of 3204, the people on Earth are at war with aliens from Mars, human-alike beings with supernatural powers. Over the last thousand years however, humans have evolved. Each human now possesses one of the four elements of nature: fire, water, air, earth - earning the name Elemental. To learn how to control the element, they go through training academies, to among other things find their elemental partner. Here's where we meet Breeze, a Junior-Elemental controlling the element of air, still struggling with putting his right emotions when connecting to the element. Taunted by his older brother Rain, and his Elemental partner Ember, the insecurity within takes control of his element. That is until he meets the female and rebel-ish kind of Junior Elemental, Blaze. Achievements: - Best rank in Science Fiction: #70 (7/1-15)
