A monstrous creature is taking the entire continent in a grip of destruction. Everything it touches catches fire...but that's just the beginning. Cirpo, a bird-man from the peaceful Village among the Trees, will have to shoulder the weight of the future, finding himself slowly involved in what will seem to him to be someone else's fate. A light but well thought out adventure, that tries to tell a story set in a distant and hypothetical past.
(Hi everyone! This is a long story that I've been working on for some time. I'll tell you, I've never been a big fan of fantasy books, but when this story came to my mind...well, I didn't I missed it! If there are grammatical errors etc. I'm sorry, unfortunately, not having finished it yet, I haven't had the opportunity to look at it properly yet (°U°'). I hope it can be fluent enough! *potential trigger warning of abuse, neglect, name calling, etc* DISCLAIMER: this is written between myself and someone else who is originally from New Zealand. There are different spellings. No, I am not changing it. I'm an not the only author and it switches the point of view from Nairobi and Flahme. Nairobi, a creature of the forest and protector of all plants and animals that live there is discovered by humans that move into the area. He faces the choices of being driven from his home as he has been before or facing the humans. Things go well at first but it isn't long before things take a turn for the worse and Nairobi is imprisoned within a cave. First it's for profit so that people can come to the cave and see him, but as the years pass, the humans' amazement at the strange creature turns to disgust and revulsion toward the freak of nature. Now, nearly a century after his imprisonment, Nairobi meets someone new that may be the key to his freedom and return to the forest. Flahme is a demon from Hell with a half-remembered past and a mission. She must retrieve items to free herself from servitude. (This shall be item 9 of 13. Flahme is not my oc.) Forgotten, but not broken
A man wakes up, without most of his memories about his life and how he got here. All he knows for sure, is that he needs to get out of the place he is being held and figure out what the new world around him has to offer. Will he survive? Will he ever remember his past? Who knows.
