Kaylee works as a barista at StarCoffee, a popular chain of overpriced coffee shops while she's saving for a school she doesn't even want to attend. Unfortunately, it's the only way out she can come up with since her parents won't tell her where her SSC and birth certificate are until she's enrolled in classes. Not to mention they're demanding she pay back the loan they gave her to get a car. It makes it hard to save, but she'll manage. Until she can wriggle free, she just keeps her chin up and drinks an extra cup of coffee every day.
Then she meets Sasha.
Sasha is sweet, strong, as hot as fresh espresso, and cusses like a sailor when another customer is hassling the employees during a busy shift.
Now Kaylee has a crush, and she's starting to think that maybe overtime does pay well enough... At least, if it means she gets to see Sasha regularly. Getting the loan paid off sooner is great too of course.
