Aurora is the protagonist of this tale. The story is told completely from her point of view. She is the leader of her sector, the hunters. With her long red hair and lavender eyes, she is beautiful. There is more to her than beauty, however. With a bow in her hand, she is deadly accurate. She along with the other hunters are responsible for supplying everyone in Community, their home, with meat for their meals.

Community is the name given to the settlement where everyone has lived for many years. The apocalypse was one-hundred years ago but it seems like much less time has passed inside of the 'safety zone' the Gods have put in place to protect their valued assets, their children. The days are longer and their children age slower than they would in the 'real world' outside the dome. At the beginning of this tale, no one is aware they have a divine parent. However, upon discovering this everyone's lives are turned on their ear.

Join me on this adventure to discover what happens when Demigods have no idea they have the power to save humanity.

In a whirlwind of Wars, Prophecies, and Destines, a group of children fight to survive a single day at a time. In the eye of the hurricane, stands the only Daughter of Hestia, and a son of Poseidon. Will they be able to survive it all, or will they simply become another Greek Tragedy? Or when, Icarus falls in love with the Sun, for the final time. *✧・゚: *✧・゚: Percy Jackson x FemOC (The Lighting Thief - The Last Olympian) (Book 1 of 3 in the Divine Series) Started: 12/24/2023 Ended: In Progress *✧・゚: *✧・゚: Icaria Kane's body was exhausted. She had pushed herself past her breaking point, and still continued on as if nothing was wrong. The demigod knew if she allowed herself time to take even a moment, her soul would physically crack in two. Now was not the time for weakness, if anything, she had to be stronger. She knew the other girls would mumble about her, but Icaria wouldn't listen to them. She refused to watch someone she loved fall at the hands of Thanatos again. If need be, she would offer herself to him in place. Yet, there was someone who noticed the young girl breaking apart. She could see the bags grow darker, and watched as Icaria began to eat less and less. It was the same someone who had saved Icaria all those years ago. And the goddess refused to watch that someone suffer any longer. The goddess, Artemis, stepped out of her tent in the early morning light. All of her girls were getting rest, taking the opportunity to relax with the very few days of peace they had left. All except one. In the distance, the goddess could hear the distinct sound of metal striking against wood. She took quiet steps, and watched Icaria Kane from a distance. The girl breathed heavily, her body slumped from exhaustion. "Icaria?" Artemis asked, stepping through the early morning fog. "Why do you cry?" The demigods body tightened, urging the tears to stop falling. She turned her body away from her goddess, clutching Hearth in her hands.

Huntingtown was panicking; no one knew where the sirens were coming from. There was no electricity, and there was no way for the storm Sirens to be sounding, yet they were. The entire Town was awake; everyone had a weapon. They had grabbed guns, knives, swords, and bats if they could be wielded and used for self-defense; Renee aimed her rifle at the trees, looking desperately for an explanation. Why would a siren sound? They only sounded when they were in Danger, so where was the Danger? When the predators revealed themselves, that was where the siren noise was coming from. Renee could feel her heart jump into her throat. Her face went pale; they were here. They had found the Town. Terror and panic soon swept Huntingtown; everyone knew what those monsters could do. After all, they did conquer the planet and impose the "choosing." Huntingtown was created hoping that its isolation in a cold climate would keep the Predators away, but it didn't. A voice came over those speakers. A male voice Gruff and laced with a growl. It was almost as if whoever was speaking was annoyed and angry. "Although I have enjoyed seeing your little Town outmaneuver many hunters. I am afraid this is where your little games end. However, I will give you a chance to keep your freedom. A hunt. You will be red by your best hunter, Renee Madison." Renee felt her blood go cold as she stared wide-eyed at the ship. She was unknowingly dropping her gun at the news. " she will be your leader; she will be my prize. You have a time advantage. Go!" The ship took off, looking for a place to land, all while the news sank into the Town's residence. Renee had known she had fucked up when she fired at one of those predators and hit him. She had proven herself worthy of the hunt. Now she has to face the consequences, not only her but her entire Town had to. Renee had to win this hunt; the fate of her Town depended on it.
