Aoi Tategami and Makoto Kenzaki are two idols who have opposite personalities, with Aoi being the Passionate and Aggressive one, and Makoto being the Gentle and Demure one. Nevertheless, Aoi and Makoto formed an unlikely friendship that turns into sisterly bond. Despite the obstacles that may ruin their bonds, they continue to fight as Precures together and save the day. The duo recruits a group with Love Momozono, Saki Hyuuga, Nao Midorikawa, Rin Natsuki and Elena Amamiya, and they named it "Go Cheerful Crew".

Not long after Go Cheerful Crew is recruited, Maiya, a goddess who came from the Music World, searches for Precures to help her stop her cousin Souta, who became the Demon King due to his jealousy. With Aoi, Makoto, and the rest of GCC Casts are up to the mission Maiya gave them, they must work together to stop Souta and his organization, the Warumo Squad.
