She was gifted, but never knew of such a thing, but when a new boy comes strolling into town and possess some of the same qualities as herself, what happens? What happens when the near touch of someone’s skin brought to you fire, a look could bring haze to your eyes, a simple gaze could read your thoughts? The dreams of purple eyes and dark shadows loom into her life without a sound, yet suddenly as Connor Duracko comes into sight, these dreams fall into place. In a big town, there's bound to be plenty of secrets, more than Sabrina Volasco could ever imagine.
Connor’s P.O.V. : “Her skin was like touching fire, burning, scratching, warning. But I didn’t listen. I didn’t want to listen because if I learnt anything, dreams were mute; it was the feeling that mattered. I brushed my finger lightly against her cheek, boring my eyes into hers. I wanted her to remember me, the way she’d remember a book. I felt tingles in the back of my mind and I knew I had to look away, I had to shift my gaze because the burning sensation was slowly going to be the near death of me, but it was hard because it didn’t let me look at anything but her and in the end, that’s all I ever wanted to look at, but fate was cruel and I knew I couldn’t have her as much as I wanted to. So I moved my eyes away and blocked them, I couldn’t afford to let her see my real emotions. I tenderly brushed my thumb against her cheek bone and turned around, I had to leave her behind.”
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
