I Saved The Bad Boy's Life

"Yes! I've made it this far and apart from the dull throb in my leg I'm A-okay."
That was until, I lost my footing while trying to go down the two small steps.
I prepared myself to receive a face full of dirt and pain.
But it never came.
I felt the warmth of strong arms holding me. I could smell his heavenly cologne being this close. My face was pushed against his strong chest and I could hear the steady beat of his heart.
Lifting my face up to look at my saviour, I realised it was someone I'd never thought I'd bump into any time soon.
"I know this doesn't even come close to what you did," his deep voice suddenly rang out, "but I do hope this is a start."
