After a big Disaster in the kpop history where many idols lost their fans and disband which leaded to a higher suicide rate for fans and idols, The entertainments decided to stop forces and allowed to let the idols be more involved in their private live, the most idols gained more fans and the fans more likeable to stay with the idols.
One thing became a trend, the fans wanted to see the idols sex lifestyle too because when they already know much about them why not the real private stuff.
And that's when JYP and Hybe Entertainment came on the idea to start the "I-dol match-dol" show ... Jyp was allowed to pick the name obviously so yeah don't wonder 💀
The idols were picked by their company's they couldn't really refuse, the company said u can pretend if u don't care and little do they know that this could go either extremely wrong or super good... I guess that depends on the Fandom and the idols...
