A RadhaKrishn Retelling We are all familiar with the five thousand-year-old love story of the greatest lovers of the ages, RadhaKrishna. This is my take on what would be their story like in today's world. ~ Radha has witnessed her fair share of loss throughout her life. Her once big happy family has been reduced to a small one which has been ruined by grief and loss and while she has managed to remain her happy self, she yearns for something her family might have forgotten to express to her, love. Now someone has appeared in her life seemingly out of nowhere. He's there at every turn of her life, and suddenly she can't escape him. Each interaction leaves her more and more confused and annoyed. He feels too familiar to be a stranger, yet too strange to be understood by her. While his presence hints at a connection so deeply entwined, her practical mind rejects all possible explanations. Watch this sweet love story unfold, peek inside to witness this retelling of the greatest love saga. ~DISCLAIMER~ This story is loosely based on the Star Bharat show Radhakrishn, but I would change most of it to fit my setting. Radheya Karna: A Fallen Hero or A Sacrificing Sage? (Karna Series 1)
In the age of Mahabharat, at Hastinapur Khatriyo Adhiradh fell in love with Sudro girl Radha. They got married but failed to produce any offspring. Many years later, in Ganga river, they discovered a newly born child with earrings and armor. His face was bright as daylight. They took him and named him Basusen. Later Maharishi Parasuram took him as his disciple but Dronacharya refuted while giving him the name of Karna. He was a great archer and powerful fighter. His dream of life was to defeat Arjuna, the greatest archer of India and the Prince of Hastinapur. At the day of archery competition, he even challenged his rival but refuted by Kulguru Kripacharya for not being a Prince. Arjuna's cousin, Duryodhan, immeditely befriended him and rewarded him the throne of Anga Pradesh (today's Behar). He became Angaraj and became the loyal friend of Duryodhan till his death. He even had to take part in his friend's gulit, agony and wrongdoings unwantedly. But he had a secret in his birth. Did it make him or ultimately break him before the final war of Kurukshetra against Arjuna? Some of avid readers are asking why I did not mention here about his lover Baishali or his third wife Uruvi. Yes I had removed their names as I planned to pen down separate stories on all of them. I had followed Ved Vyas Mahabharata here mostly. I don't want to make this book into a big fat novel. So I write down a whole series on his each wives and off springs, Vrishaketu & Padmaja. Sorry if you find this story not related to my all other stories of Karna Series. This is my second story on my favorite Mahabharata series. He is my childhood crush till today. I dedicate this book only to him. This is my original story and I strongly declare that I did not publish it on any other platform than here.
