Aribella Rogers lived on the OBX until she was sixteen. For two years she was away, without keeping in full contact with her old friends. A couple months after leaving home, Aribella finds out her long term boyfriend, JJ Maybank, is cheating on her. Breaking up with JJ was hard, but it gave Aribella the opportunity to find out who she was with no ties to the OBX. She took time for herself, and she worked to get into a better mental state.
