Sanemi and Genya have a very twisted relationship Genya does whatever he can to climb up the ranks of the demon Slayer corps to get closer to his older brother. Sanemi says whatever mean things he can think of to break Genya's motivation, to no avail. By why can't he just talk to Genya? Why can't Genya be heard? Perhaps they just weren't meant to reconcile their relationship. Perhaps it was just inevitable fate that bad things happen.
